Not PC and not in good taste, but a good example of an folk log. The summer I interned in D.C. (at The Chronicle of Higher Education) I remember reading an ongoing text file called "Power Elevator" featuring the best overheard conversations from indiscreet neighbors (mostly lawyers) in the building.
